25/06/2007 - THE HOBIE TIGER WINS THE ROUND TEXEL

26/6 On Saturday 23 June 2007 the Australian Nissan Hobie Cat Pro Team Bundock/Ashby won the Round Texel, the biggest catamaran race in the world. Good weather conditions for this 30th Edition of the Round Texel with a south-western wind force 3. The three Hobie Tiger Nissan Pro Teams showed a spectacular spinnaker start and took three places in the top 5, two on the podium :

1st : Bundock/Ashby AUS - 3rd : Mourniac/Citeau FRA. The German Team Gosche father and son took the 5th place.

The Hobie Tiger, a leading Formula 18 catamaran, has won this prestigious race 2 times, in the last 3 years.
